Like fishermen, we often sail out into the deep sea, battle the angry waves and face the hostile wind only at the end of the day to discover empty nets. But this is how life works. Sometimes we get what we want, most of the time we don't. And despite and in spite of these failures and disappointments, we go on hoping and believing that tomorrow will be better, that tomorrow, things might work out and we'll get a hearty catch. Maybe it's the innate optimism or endurance on our genes that make us go on and move forward, because if it's not part of our very core, humanity would have vanished long ago. How many rejections, failures, disappointments and betrayals can one handle? We'll never know. But what has been proven is this--as long as man goes on, he'll be able to go places. And when man finally gives up on everything, that's when his existence will cease.
